Andra Wilson to Lead Laguna's Challenge Success Program

Laguna's Challenge Success program is working to build a bigger picture of success. The program and student club aims to create a new paradigm for student achievement—one with less stress, more balance, and a greater love of learning. In doing so, the program builds a more meaningful and joyful educational experience that sets students up for success not just in college admissions, but also life beyond.

Launched in 2016, Challenge Success may seem like a surprising addition for a school like Laguna, which prides itself on academic rigor. But that is exactly why the program is so important. It’s easy for students to become overwhelmed when they face many challenging courses, sports and theater practices, and service commitments. This year presents an extra layer of stress and uncertainty for students, families, and teachers to navigate. Laguna’s teachers are committed to creating a climate of care where all students learn at high levels, while maintaining a balanced approach to success. And they're looking to parents and students to help them.

This year, Laguna Physical Education Teacher Andra Wilson will continue to grow the program through outreach opportunities as the Challenge Success On-Site Coordinator. Part of this role includes overseeing the Challenge Success club, where students band together to provide meaningful experiences that benefit their fellow students.

Stay tuned for upcoming healthy reminders to ensure a balanced and happy school year!
