Virtual Volunteer Workshop for Teens
A Non-Profit Panel of 20+ SB County organizations will share about how students can create meaningful ways to volunteer. Completing community service hours is more than checking a box off the to-do list… it’s about finding the joy of volunteering, developing new skills, and growing and discovering new passions. Start by identifying which areas (animals, arts & culture, homelessness, environment & science, education, camps, elderly) are meaningful to you. Volunteering helps people manage stress, feel connected, and increase self-confidence!

Golden Oak Gala - Volunteer Kickoff Meeting
WHEN: Tuesday, November 12, 2024 - 5:30 - 7:00pmWHERE: La Cumbre Country ClubOur annual Golden Oak Gala will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Rosewood Miramar Beach.
It is an elegant evening for parents of students, alumni, and friends of Laguna Blanca to raise vital funds for the school.
We invite anyone interested in volunteering to come meet our Chairs and Development team to learn who is responsible for each aspect of the event and who to contact. We will also discuss details of the event and the various committees. Most volunteering will take place prior to the event. Assistance is needed in obtaining items for the online auction, live auction, assisting with student art, personal touch elements for the event and more! Alums' Day of Play
All alums and their partners/families + alum parents are invited to play or watch basketball, soccer, and tennis. Lunch and activities for children are available for all ages and hosted by the school. Come play, come cheer, come for a day of fun and friendship!
This year's event will honor Staci Richard—beloved Science and STEM Department Chair & Science Research teacher, advisor and colleague—who was a member of Laguna's faculty for over 25 years.
We will also celebrate special reunion years ending in 4 and 9: 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014, & 2019.
