Last Friday in Ruston Amphitheatre, seniors, their families, faculty, staff, and students from Grades 5-11 gathered for the Annual Senior Send-off, a bittersweet farewell assembly. This cherished tradition marks the last day of classes for the Class of 2024 before they leave campus to start their senior projects. Latin Instructor & Director of Academic Services Rose Steeber shared ten adorable life lessons from her puppy, Tully, emphasizing joy, forgiveness, and curiosity.
The assembly included a fun competition organized by Mr. Dorfman for the title of Supreme Senior, won by Alexis Acosta. As a touching finale, the entire school applauded the senior class out of the Amphitheatre, each senior receiving a flower from their teachers.
Afterward, the soon-to-be grads gathered in the Upper School Quad for a class photo in front of the senior wall, which showcased their 140 college acceptances. The energy was electric, with laughter and post-AP relief filling the air as the seniors celebrated their next big step. We can’t wait to honor them and all their achievements at the 90th Commencement Ceremony on June 12!
