A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAMPER

Your camper’s Arts at Laguna weeklong adventure will be robust and activity-filled, each day with its own special twist.

Every camp morning begins with an opening where campers aged 5-12 are invited to participate in activities from hula-hooping to line dancing to individual performances on an open-mike and keyboard, or they may sit with their group and color or chat.

After the opening and before lunch, campers travel with their grade level counselor groups to four classes, one each in the visual arts, dance, theater, and music. (There is, of course, recess and snack daily as well!)

After lunch—which we provide—there is a special afternoon activity. One day we have a storyteller and on another, we have an arts festival; all afternoon activities are related to the particular theme of the week.

On Friday afternoon, there is a musical revue where all campers are on stage performing what they have learned over the week. To keep our A@L family safe and groovin’ all summer long, we ask that each camper only have one special guest in the audience.  However, the show will be recorded each week and a link sent to families for the viewing pleasure of all!

Our primary concern is your child’s health, happiness, and safety. Be assured that all CDC, local, and school public health guidelines and protocols will be followed.
